Describe yourself :
People say that I am suplada because I donít smile much, what they donít know is that I am shy but very friendly.

What side or character of yours that would most likely surprise others?
Ö that I am funny 

What age did you start swimming? What brought you to the sport of swimming?
I started swimming at the age of 9. I love the water, I feel happy when I am swimming. It is one sport where I donít sweat.

During your early years of swimming, have you ever thought that you will reach where you are now today as a swimmer? Why?
When I started swimming it was all about having fun in the water with friends. Swimming competitively was not part of the plan.

What do you think are the factors that make you a successful swimmer?
I think that the support of my family plays an important role to what I have become as a swimmer, as well as my coach believing and constantly pushing me to be better.

What is your most memorable experience as a swimmer?
I think the most memorable was my first Nationals, without expectations I placed in one of my events and that was the start of my swimming career.

Apart from being a Summer Olympian, what is (are) your other goal(s) as a swimmer?
My goal as a swimmer is to constantly improve my times and be a better swimmer after every competition.

Was there ever a time that you thought of quitting swimming? Why?
Yes, because it took up most of my free time and it affected my grades.

Who do you look up to as a swimmer? Why?
I look up to Chloe Daos because she is able to balance both her swimming career and academics. She motivated me because she made me realize that it is possible to do well in swimming and at the same time get good grades in school.

Any specific routines before and during the meet or before a swim? What are these?
I would usually sleep early days before the meet and pray for a good swim.

Please share some words of wisdom for swimmers who wish to be like you.
Enjoy what you do.
