Five gold medals each for Tom, Dula and Talosig in Batang Pinoy Nationals

Aubrey Tom, Mark Bryan Dula and John Alexander Talosig ended their 2019 Batang Pinoy National Championship campaign with five gold medals each in Puerto Princesa City.

Cainta Rizal’s Tom clinched her fifth gold medal in the Girls 12 & Under 50m Freestyle event, clocking a gold medal time of 28.93.

Qaantruelle Light Wangkay of Laguna Province took the silver with 29.63 clocking, and Dumagete City’s Kacie Gabriel Tiongko in third place with 31.13

Tom swept the gold medals in the 50m Free, 50m Fly, 50m Back, 100m Free and 200m IM events at this year’s Batang Pinoy Nationals.

Eleven year-old Dula pocketed his fifth gold medal after topping the 100m Backstroke event with 1:08.11

The Siklab awardee went home with gold Batang Pinoy gold medals in 50m Back, 100m Back, 200m Back, 50m Fly and 100m Fly events in the Boys 12 & Under Division.

Meanwhile, Alexander Talosig was the top performing swimmer in the 13-15 Division with five gold medals.

His fifth gold medal came in today in the 400m Freestyle event where he clocked a gold medal time of 4:20.03.

He raked-in all gold medals in the 200m Free, 400m Free, 1500m Free, 200m IM and 400m IM events.

Other gold medalists on the last day of the championship in the 14-15 Division were Jie Angela Mikaela Talosig (400m Free / 4:42.89), Prince Dave Calma (100m Back / 1:03.12), Kyla Soguilon (100m Back / 1:08.78), Gabriel Angelo Jizmundo (50m Free / 25.27), June Pearl Daganio (50m Free / 28.76), Sean Isaac Villanueva (200m Fly / 2:17.94), Thea Diane Canda (200m Fly / 2:30.52), Albren Jan Dayapdapan (100m Breast / 1:10.66) and Mary Sophia Manantan (100m Breast / 1:15.68)

Other gold medal winners in the 13 & Under division were Ysabelle Jean Alcazar (100m Back / 1:16.68), Troy Castor (50m Free / 29.00), Franz Isaac Ubaldo (200m Fly / 2:35.19), Renavive Rontesa Subida (200m Fly / 2:31.45), Isidore Warain (100m Breast / 1:17.53) and Saira Janelle Pabellon (100m Breast / 1:19.80).
