Jasmine Mojdeh resets junior national swim record at PSI Grand Prix Nationals

Junior swim superstar Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh reset her own 100m Butterfly Girls 13 & Under Philippine Junior National Record on day one of the 2019 PSI Long Course Grand Prix National Championships at Rizal Memorial Swimming Pool in Manila, Friday afternoon.

At the morning preliminary, 13-year-old Mojdeh reset her 1:04.74 record to 1:04.72 to finish second overall in the Girls 100m Butterfly event.

She then propelled her way to a golden finish in the Open Finals, trimming further her junior national record to 1:04.08 to top the Girls 100m Butterfly event.

Mojdeh finished her day one campaign with one (1) Open Finals gold, two Open Finals silver (400m Free and 200m IM), and one (1) Open Finals bronze (50m Breast); while at the same time sweeping the gold medals of the four events in the 13 & Under Age Group, winning the gold in the 400m Free (4:46.83), 50m Breast (35.58), 100m Fly (1:04.08), and 200m IM (2:32.73) events.

She did not see action in the 100m Back event which was won by Ishaelle Mae Villa (13 & Under Division) with a time of 1:13.63; and placed third in the 50m Free 13 & Under Division with a time of 29.37

Alexi Kouzenye Cabayaran of Silay, Negros Occidental took the gold with a time of 28.52
