Philippine junior swim sensation Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh nailed her third Philippine Swimming Junior National record at the Dr. Ralph Hicken International Meet in Ontraio, Canada last weekend.

Swimming in the 12-year-old Age-Band, Mojdeh took the gold of the Girls 100m Butterfly event with a new PH junior swim record time of 1:04.74, erasing Camille Lauren Buico’s record of 1:05.20 set in 2016.

Mojdeh, who is yet to turn 13 later this year, is now the 13 & Under junior Philippine national record holder of the 100m Fly, 200m Fly and 200m IM events.

Her 200m Fly record stands at 2:22.69, while her 200m IM record is 2:30.11; both set at the Palarong Pambansa national championships early this month.

Apart from her junior national record, Mojdeh also brought home 8 gold and 1 silver medal from the Canada meet.
