Full results of the Mindanao Leg of the 2017 PhilSwim Long Course Swim Series held at the Tagum City Sports Complex, Tagum City, Davao Del Norte last May 6-7, 2017 are now included in the 2017 Philippine Swimming Rankings.
Most notable swimmers in the said meet who clinched Top 5 times in the overall national rankings are Samuel John Alcos, Jessie Khing Lacuna and Jasmine Alkhaldi.
Alcos debut in our 2017 overall national rankings in Top Position of the 50m Breast event, and then ranks third in 100m Breast and 6th in the 200m Breast rankings.
Alkhaldi on the other hand ranks 4th in 400m Free; while Lacuna ranks 5th in the 400m Free, 6th in 200m Fly and 8th in the 100m Free event.
Other swimmers who clocked times that made it to the overall national rankings are Andrea Ann Tiffany Ngui (10th in 50m Fly) and Fritz Jun Rodriguez (11th in 50m Breast).
Making waves in the Age-Group Junior National Rankings, after clocking Top 5 times in their respective Age-Group, are Eryk John Omandam, Ryan Emmanuel Suarez, Matthieu Adrien Tao, Fritz Jun Rodriguez and Ahlea Rhunette Ancajas.
Omandam ranks 2nd in the 200m Fly 13 & Under Rankings, followed by Suarez who now ranks 3.
Tao ranks 4th in the 200m Back 13 & Under Ranking, while Rodriguez clinched the top 5 spot in the 50m Breast 16-18 Age Group Ranking.
Ancajas debuts in the age-group ranking on third spot of the 50m Breast 13 & Under Ranking.
